Understanding cyber violence. Supporting survivors. Inspiring change.
SCV is dedicated to raising awareness about the growing prevalence and impact of cyber violence, including stalking, harassment, digital impersonation, and other forms of technology-enabled abuse. Drawing from her own experience with years of cyberstalking, singer-songwriter and advocate Coles Whalen works to educate the public, support survivors, and inspire meaningful change.
🛡️ Real-world harm
Cyber violence affects safety, careers, relationships, and mental health.
📱 Always connected
Technology allows abuse to continue 24 hours a day.
👥 More common than people realize
Millions experience online abuse each year, yet many victims are never recognized or supported.
My life changed because of years of stalking that followed me online and into the real world. That experience eventually became a U.S. Supreme Court case—but it also became the reason I started STOP Cyber Violence. Today I use my story to help others recognize cyber violence before it escalates and to remind survivors they are never alone.
Awareness leads to action. Action leads to change. From classrooms to courtrooms to state legislatures, meaningful progress begins when people understand the realities of cyber violence.
Whether you're hosting a conference, training a team, supporting survivors, or looking to raise awareness in your community about cyber violence, let's start the conversation.
